ABOUT THE ARTIST Burhan Nagarwala is a young and emerging artist based in Mumbai. He has completed a Master in Fine Arts from Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune, India. Most of his paintings are realistic. Burhan prefers oil and charcoal as his mediums of choice. He has been interested in painting horses since childhood and does it impeccably. Through horses, he portrays the joys and pains of life. Burhan also creates abstract landscapes and portraits depending on his mood, what attracts him, or what is happening in his surroundings. He does not like to stick to one style; he believes that an artist should experiment with everything in the art world. The horse is the symbol of beauty, freedom, and strength. Fiery enthusiasm, backed by common sense and persistence, is the quality that most often leads to success, cites the artist.
