ABOUT THE ARTIST He graduated from Ravindra Bharati College in the first batch of BVA in 1987. His passion for art developed from his father, the eminent artist Bijon Choudhury, who passed away long ago. He has been experimenting with cubic shapes by dividing his canvas with geometric shapes with strong black lines. First, he applies the base color on the surface and uses bicolor for shading which gives the two-dimensional effect, then he spreads it all over the canvas with variation in texture, so his works are always bright and attractive. His works are mainly derived from Bengali life.
