ABOUT THE ARTIST

Black and white tones are very important for intensity and clarity, and they also create the atmosphere of play between shadows and light. The absence of color creates depth in the presence of shadows and light, showing that shadows and light in the painting are like mounds of mass, which gives the painting a sculptural look. It is like a musician's view. In a dream, we see a sequence of colored images.

In some paintings, for some parts, color is used intentionally, so that it complements the black and white figure and at the same time moves the path of the gaze throughout the painting. In all these images, a moment is frozen and when this happens, the theme of black and white is justified. I am happy that through this exhibition I will take viewers on a journey through my past moments of shadow and light, which will also help them relate to their past.
