His major exhibitions include the Third British International Biennial (1972), Western Pacific Print Biennial, Australia (1976), Intergrafik, Germany in 1978 and 1984, Seven Contemporary Artists, Birla Academy of Art and Culture. Kolkata (1978), Indian Prints, Amsterdam (1984), Printmaking in India, Festival of India, USA (1985), the exhibition at the University of Waterloo, Canada (1985) and the Lalit Kala Akademi exhibition, Delhi ( 1985 and 1986), and He was honored by Rabindra Bharati University with the lifetime achievement award in 2008.
